When Sony reached out and asked me to write an article about the various gear I use for photography and filmmaking, I jumped at the opportunity.
The opening reception for my exhibition at OCAF was this past Friday and the turnout was fantastic. A huge thanks to so many of you who came out to see my work and talk to me about my passion. It was a great opportunity to finally put faces with names and chat with many of you whom I have corresponded with online, but never met in real life.
I was honored when the Extra Special People organization here in Watkinsville reached out to me to teach a photography workshop at their end-of-summer retreat in Asheville. They are truly an amazing organization that makes a tremendous impact on so many lives throughout Georgia
I am really proud to announce that three of my prints are now hanging in the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. These very large prints (two of them are 5 feet in length) will be found in the ticketing area of the terminal near the entrance.
When the mayor of Watkinsville reached out to me to purchase some prints for City Hall, I was very excited to know that my work would be hanging in a place that many people would see.
I was fortunate enough to be able to teach a workshop at the famous White Oak Pastures down in South Georgia a few weeks ago, and there was a wonderful turnout of photographers.
I had a great time leading a workshop for 17 members of the North Georgia Photography club. We met at Hurricane Shoals for a few hours of photography and compositions, followed by a 2-hour editing session where I covered the essentials of Lightroom along with some more advanced techniques using the power of Photoshop.
